Sonyfan from our Partnerpage SplatterLadder announced at the official community forum, that they due to the teamwork with Splash Damage , got their own Ranking and Rating System for ET:QW on splatterladder.com. The Ranking includes all server, so the unranked-server-datas are also collected.

The RoN Clan | Realm of Napalm presents it's third Map named RoN Weejumps. This time a Trickjumpmap made by [RoN]WeeMan. The Map offers a few Funjumps, Beginnergammas and Gammas of medium difficulty. For Beginners and Advanced Players usable. Bonus: reach the End of the Map to unlock the Funroom. Here are a few Minigames like an invisible Maze and many more.
Clients running ET 2.60b which want to connect to ETpro-Server with ET 2.60b installed will be rejected. As a solution for the transition period until ETpro is compatible, the gameservers should be patched to version 2.60b. Players with an unpatched ET (ET v2.60) should only connect to server which seem to be confident to them. The ones who have not back-uped their executables can download them from here to avoid a re-installation.

Important addition: Our sl.-database has been adjusted to the new 'circumstances'. In the gobal and private serverlist the patched servers will be marked with an icon . This icon is only temporary until there are no more incompabilities to mods, clients, server etc. Your sl.-Team!
This time lot's of snipers are hiding in the castle. It's a spooky kind of castle so watch out. There is a way to pass on the bridge but... A howling wolf will tell that someones crossing, so beware...
If you run a server with any older version, please upgrade or consider turning off autodownload ( set sv_allowDownload to 0 ). Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory servers http/ftp download feature is not affected by CVE-2006-2082. If you don't wish to upgrade, you can decide to only enable http/ftp downloads and disable legacy downloads in that particular case.
Duel Site is a small valley, with 2 cottages and a destroyed concrete building between them. The cottages are team spawnpoints. The map has been designed for duel(1vs1) but it can be used just to fool around with even 3vs3.
August 1943. The allied troops have found a secret Axis Base. It seems that some prototypes of V2 are inside this base. The task of today is to penetrate into the base, steal the secret architect's plans of the V2. In addition the V2 Control must be destroyed.

Players of Enemy Territory, Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Quake III Arena should be careful in future when connecting to an unknown server. There is a buffer overlow exploit around for the mentioned games with Quake 3 Engine, which plants code on the client and executes it. Therefore it will suffice to send a prepared RemapShader-order to the client.
The linux and also the windows-versions are affected, but the exploit works with linux-versions only at the moment. It opens on TCP-port 27670 a through network reachable shell. The error was found in versions of Enemy Territory 2.60, Return to Castle Wolfenstein 1.41 and Quake III Arena 1.32b. Other versions are potentially also affected. Up to now there is no patch closing this security hole.
Team Neelix wrote a BugFix for the Enemy Territory Mod 'True Combat: Elite' (T:CE). The fix solves a problem with certain Client Commands, which Nuke the Gameserver and kick all Players. I recommend all TCE Admins to install DutchFix 1.4 to protect your TCE Server against those Nuke attacks. The Other Fix in DutchFix 1.4 solves a Nade Exploit to get rid of massive Nades cheaters.
It is a mod inspired by Stargate and it's for real fans. It's based on original Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory 2.60. The general changes are new player class and weapons.
