This is Hellbaron's latest update for "RtCW Venom Mod" which has many new and improved features. As always, two versions of the mod have been released so that Nvidia graphics card users can also enjoy all the benefits of this excellent "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" modification.
What's new in this 6th series? :
- Fixed the weapons shaders for WolfMP.
- Better textures for the mauser rifle and flamethrower.
- Fixed A.I. of the map level, "Dig".
- Fixed the colors for flame textures.
- New shader for characters on fire.
- Merged and fixed a new HD texture pack, (SP/MP) .
This is a small maintenance release, mainly to address a couple of crash and potential security issues for the "ioRtCW" engine, the libraries for sound/video/input have also been updated.
The creation of "ioRtCW" has enabled the modernising of "Return to Castle Wolfenstein". This excellent work has completely transformed the game and it now has many of the modern-day features that we take for granted with newer game releases.
The modernisation work is truly wonderful and if you're a "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" fan and haven't experienced "ioRtCW" yet, then we at "Wolffiles.de" highly recommend that you do.

Download the appropriate version of "ioRtCW" that you need for you operating system, install it and enjoy a very up-to-date version of our beloved "Return to Castle Wolfenstein".
This has to be one of the best, if not the best, resource packs ever created for "Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory" map-makers. Whether you're an experienced "Wolf: ET" mapper, or someone just starting out in your map-making projects, this new mappers' resource pack has plenty to offer you.

Vicpas has released a new update of his amazing "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" singleplayer adventure, entitled, "Age of Horror". There's 18 maps to play, plus a special bonus map too, with each level being an excellent challenge for all players, new or old.
This superb creation is a definite, "must have", download for all "RtCW SP" fans.

If you get a screen error on the map, "Ville", follow the instructuons below:
1 - Open the file wolfconfig.cfg, in your "RtCW" main folder, with the "notepad" program. 2 - Search for the lines: "seta com_hunkmegs 72" - change the value 72 to 512. "seta com_soundmegs 24" - change the value 24 to 128. 3 - Save the file and reload the game.
This error occurs because of the line, seta s_khz "44", in the new file autoexec.cfg.

This is Devils Right Hand's latest release of the classic "Adlernest" map for "Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory". The map was originally designed and created by Dersaidin. Alterations have been made in order to improve the overall gameplay.
What's new? :
- The size of the bushes at the Allies' outside approach terrain has been reduced.
- Some crates at the door control storage area have been removed.
- Also, some crates at the Allied radio transmitter have been removed.

Here's yet another superb "Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory" map, this one is the creation of "Wolf: ET" mapper, ETc| OnkelBob of the "Extreme Terror Clan" and is definitely a Wolfenstein work of art.
Storyline:
Set in a fortress above the small town of Cassino in Italy, the Allies and Axis are set on a collision course, it's a fight to the death. The mighty Fortress Monte Cassino on the Axis Gustav Line has repeatedly stopped the Allies from making their way to Rome.
They must get their hands on the Axis secret map of this vitally strategic combat area, in order to obtain the Information they require to win the war. The Axis troops must protect the secret map at all costs, as the information contained in it can decide the fate of this turning point in history.
The "Fearless Assassins Gaming Community" mappers, Smiley and Isbowhten, have released an updated version of their map, "=F|A= Italy". The last release had some problems when the bomb dropped to destroy the door that gives the Allied team access to the Axis gold, sometimes the map would crash at this point. This bug has now been fixed.
This is the updated version of the superb "Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory - Deathmatch" map, entitled, "Toxic Fabric", which has been created by Devils Right Hand.
This was another map which had the bug that prevented the proper spawn locations from being selected and this caused the map to crash sometimes. This has also now been fixed.
Devils Right Hand has created this updated version of "etl Adlernest", due to the models that were used in the previous version. This new version also has new botfiles available in the download.
This is the latest version of the excellent "Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory" map, entitled, "Biohazard", which has been created by Devils Right Hand.
What's New?
Apparently, in the last release, there was a bug that prevented the proper spawn locations from being selected and this caused the map to crash sometimes. This has now been fixed.
This is a brand new version of the "Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory" map, "Italy". It has been created by Isbowhten and Smiley from the "Fearless Assassins Gaming Community".
Changes:
- Added new route to CP through lower entry way for better level flow and challenge.
- All drain pipes are now climbable for more balanced roof accessibility.
- Some Roof areas opened for more open play style and play ability.
- New route to First flag granting allies a bit more ease from the first spawn and more open space to work with along with a back way to the flag.
- Added in more bushes, boxes, table, and trees to new access for cover and accessibility.
-More mineable areas including new routes to both CP and flag along with several small missing brick areas in the streets.
- Courtyard flag area has second climbable ivy patch to roof.
- A good size hole in the old CP spot for level flow and need of use.
Continuing with their recreation of classic "Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory" maps, the "ET: Legacy" team have now released a superb remake of "Adlernest". It's a map that all "Wolf: ET" fans know very well and this new version has been created by Devils Right Hand.
This map pack from Devils Right Hand contains three of his marvelous "Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory" missions, "Goetterdaemmerung", "Biohazard" and ""Syphonfilter". All the new versions of the maps have been improved, with everything from new textures, more brush work detail to new map models and better spawnpoints all being added.
The very hard-working "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" mapper and modder, PAV from "Bobot", has updated his fantastic "RtCW" singleplayer modification, set in America's wild west era.

For over 15 years "Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory" has remained one of the best, (if not the best), teamplay-focussed, objective-based "fps" games ever created. New maps and mods are still being regularly created for it and as an example of this, the new community-created "ET: Legacy" modification takes the game to a whole new level.
Many "Wolf: ET" clans, communities and websites are still available to new players who are experiencing this superb World War II title for the first time, where all the help and advice that new players always need is readily accessible to them.
